For the Teen's iron infusion at the GP clinic this week: $30 for iron from chemist next door $253 at the clinic, $80 Medicare rebate on that, so around $200 out of pocket.

I'm a big fan of iron infusions, @Quickstatus. I was having them twice a year or so, and they're so much better than the tablets with their side effects.

(parent of teen venting!!) Some good news, Teen recently had two MRIs, one on her mid-back and one on her head or around the eyes, due to back pain and some headaches getting close to migraines. Both found nothing to worry about, but it doesn't explain her pain issues. I think I've realised...

QF7 in Y when it was an A380, in the little Y cabin up the back of the top floor. Lady behind me was like Woody Woodpecker on her TV screen the whole flipping way. I still kick myself that I said nothing to her and silently endured it.

As a WP last year on QF15 and 16, while I stayed in Y (no upgrades came through), I scored an empty seat next to me in each direction and was close to the front of the Y cabin. That was a bonus all things considered. I noticed another WP/P1 in a similar situation with an empty seat next to him...

Until earlier this year, I'd only heard other Queenslanders say togs. If you packed your togs in your port, along with your peanut paste sandwich, they were all markers you were a Queenslander. ;) I thought all the other states used terms like bathers, cossie, and swimmers. I was wrong!

Colleagues in the US years ago reported they had to share rooms on work travel, gender segregated. This would have been at JD Edwards. My MNC experience has always been Y for flights, unless you have a high rank or it's a customer project and the customer's travel policy allows Y+ or J.
