    New Amex statement credits

Yeah this offer never works properly for me as well. Guess we'll have to screenshot the map of each restaurant we dined at for 2025 lest we don't get our statement credit, again ...

    New Amex statement credits

It took me about a week to get my $70. No e-mail trigger

How to tell which VA 737s have been refurbished

Plane isn't guaranteed though. e.g. when I booked my MEL-BNE flight, it was a 737 8 Max, but it seems to now be a 737-800

    New Amex statement credits

None here either, but I never used the Qantas offer (if ever) on the cards that received it in the past.

    David Jones: AMEX to Latitude

Free gift wrapping, free shipping without needing to spend $100, cardholder sales, easy to rack up points at the supermarket and petrol station. As someone who had an annual fee-free one, I thoroughly enjoyed using it. But I wouldn't pay $99/year for it (especially since I don't shop as much at...

Sent another e-mail this morning basically going wtf and got my 28 Degrees card back! There's a sale happening at the moment for DJs cardmembers; 30% off a bunch of brands like Joe Black and Trenery

The Virgin Australia Newbie Questions Thread

Doubt it. I only got off the waitlist for the first time ever recently and just snuck in; turns out you shouldn't be checking in so early and instead check in as close to the cut-off time or if you get confirmed an upgrade

    David Jones: AMEX to Latitude

They closed my 28 Degrees account instead despite giving them the DJs Mastercard numbers ... Clearly did not read my reason for closing which was the high cost of fees 🥴 Edit: ended up cancelling via Amex as well this morning. Guess I'll reapply for the 28 Degrees card in 2025 ...

That's dodgy then because the wording on their paperwork clearly states an annual fee will be charged when a transaction is first initiated or something like that. Nonetheless, I also put in a close account request via the Latitude website. I didn't cancel my DJs Amex, but I did stop using it...

Got the primary card today. They want $99/year (was previously fee-free for life), so won't be activating it. That was a good nine years where I had it fee-free; will miss my DJs Amex (it was my first one)

Public Transport to our airports - what's cheapest?

InterContinental and Capella you'd just catch the train from the airport straight to Circular Quay (the most expensive but most convenient).
