NZ Credit Card for Velocity Points

Is that a yearly $35 transfer fee? If so, that wouldn't be considered much if you take into account the fees you would pay for currency conversion if you use an overseas credit card.

    Credit card skimming

Agree that we need to be vigilant with our credit cards. I once had my card skimmed by a shop which processed my transaction manually on their computer, by keying in every card detail. The following week my card had fraud charges coming through non stop. I now say No to manual processing.

Optus roaming packs - any experience?

Optus will be the last choice if you want to save money. $10 a day with Optus is too pricey. Its difficult to last on 70mb of data per day included in the Optus Travel pack. Here are my two options. You are better off buying the Covermore Global Sim or the TravelSim which you could easily get...

    March credit report changes

Opening and closing Credit Accounts is not a big deal anymore. With the new credit report, it is about RHI (Repayment History Info). So information such as making payments on time, or whether you are making min repayments will have a huge impact on getting Credit in the future.

    March credit report changes

sounds reasonable but I feel collection of such information such as repayment history will affect a lot of people getting Credit if you are the type that makes minimum repayments. That would look bad on your file.
