You could potentially try MH MMB. I can't remember if you can use it for itineraries without any MH flights, but I have definitely successfully chosen a JL seat via MH's MMB before.

I'm trying to figure out if the promotional nights will trigger after the 3 night stay has credited. I'm at 29 nights currently, so my next 3 night stay will bring me to Gold. I think this means that I will receive just 10 nights instead of 30. Does that sound right?
