I was slow typing. Yes there is the child access policy as well but in a very hard to find place. On the page where I found the lounge access info I posted there is no mentioning of the child access policy, not even in the notes.

It seems that you do not know what the discussion is about. It has nothing to do with whether Emirates should let my kids in their lounge. It's all about the information posted by Qantas on its own website.

But Emirates didn't write on Qantas' website. The whole point was the misleading information, not the child lounge access policy.

Yes it's good for Qantas to let 2 kids in to the lounge but they can't expect everyone to know the fine details that it's only for their own lounges. It's a basic thing for an international airtime to get the information on their website consistent and correct.

Yes it doesn't hurt to try but it is frustrating that we believe we should be able to get in per QF's website but we may not be able to. I pointed it out to QF more than once. I actually called QF from HKG CX lounge expressing my anger. Nothing has been done so far.

I think it is only valid for travelling to/from Aus. I tried to use it for HKG-FCO-HKG and it didn't work.

Talked to CX. They agreed that the fare rules are poorly worded and they allowed me to stop over in HKG as a gesture of good faith.
