Credit Card Offers Refreshed Amex Velocity Platinum Card Benefits & Offers

I've been a holder of this card for a few years and also received the email. My 5c - The $375 to $440 increase I'm not happy about. - The tiered SC bonus was irrelevant as I already received the 100SC due to my spend. SC aren't also that important as now not flying as much. - I've been...

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Haven't read or posted on this thread for a while, but 4 of 6 accounts received 2000 for 1c spend at Woolworths by 30 June. This was after all six received the same around six months ago (some of which were stacked with spend $40 for 2000 points).

I just received this exact same scam email yesterday. Sounds like it must have been a success, the scammers revived it. :(

Up to 50% Bonus on CommBank Transfers to partners - June 2024 offer

Unusual given that CBA Awards are one of several banks in the middle of the twice annual VFF transfer bonus. I transferred my batch to VFF in May and again in June to receive that batch therefore have none left to consider for this promotion.

    Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program

Has anybody had any issues signing up for the VA Business Flyer? I have a current ABN and I applied last Monday, no email or anything so I applied again the next day. Same, nothing and I applied again yesterday, no acknowledgement of application of details of an account? The details I put in...

Velocity Frequent Flyer launches partnership with DiDi

4k VFF points for me. Setup an account for myself and other family members who each pool to my VFF account. I hadn't actually setup a VFF Business account as yet. I had an ABN which was cancelled (as I hadn't used it in a while) just a month ago. I went to re-activate it but it didn't...

Article: By Global Standards, Australia Has Amazing Credit Card Offers

One of the frustrating things for AU credit cards is the lack of ability to earn hotel points (say Hyatt or Hilton). Would love to be earning those points as the points are hard to come by. Whilst it would be great to get a US version of those cards, the International transaction fees would be...

    INDIAN VISA...WHAT A DOG'S BREAKFAST !!!!!!!

I've done Business Visa's in the past for 12 months and despite a lot of questions as alluded above have not had any issues (have been about 8 times in recent years). Just recently I did a Tourist Visa which also had to be done within 30 days. I went through some sort of website that held off...

What credit card do you use as a sidekick to your AMEX?

I convert to VFF points when there is a 15% (or greater) conversion special in May and November.

What credit card do you use as a sidekick to your AMEX?

CBA Ultimate for me also. As mentioned Points earning isn't great, but convert at set times of the year enhances that a little, the fee free providing you spend the minimum (which is increasing as has been talked about) and O/S transactions fee free makes this quite an attractive card to keep.

Credit Card Offers CommBank Ultimate Awards Card: 100K award points – potentially fee free

I haven't received any communication either, I'm not sure how it is supposed to work, and what if it is brought in intra month. I might give them a call next week if I have time.

Credit Card Offers CommBank Smart Awards Offers & Discussion

I stand corrected as MaureenV has pointed out, I didn't realise there was a sweep function for QFF, I certainly didn't realise that, perhaps that is why there is a fee for the QFF transfer. Regarding accruing points then opting in, it's hard to say what would happen, but one would assume if you...

Credit Card Offers CommBank Smart Awards Offers & Discussion

I assume this card will be like the Ultimate card in that they both use the same "Awards" site. In which you can transfer to your airline of choice anytime with whatever points you have, which would be minimal until you get your bonus points. The way I read your note was that you imply that...

Credit Card Offers CommBank Smart Awards Offers & Discussion

Sorry, yes I was talking about the Ultimate card as that is where the conversation sort of drifted towards as the article also touched on not only the new Smart Awards cards but changes to existing cards. So to keep it back on topic, with the background of my earlier reply I'm contemplating...

Credit Card Offers CommBank Smart Awards Offers & Discussion

As I mentioned in another thread, I initially got the Ultimate card a while back to churn, but decided to keep it for the reasons discussed above (no international fees and reasonable earn rate on O/S transactions) and had little issue hitting $2.5k per month. $4k may be pushing it and aren't...

New Velocity Points Table for Virgin Australia Domestic flights

No to dissimilar to hotels and their points redemption. Hyatt have in the past couple of years introduced the tiered pricing representing off/on peak for their hotel categories (similar to the airline distances).

Credit Card Offers CommBank Ultimate Awards Card: 100K award points – potentially fee free

I've had this card for a while now and was my keeper card as the International Transaction savings were/are significant. There is flexibility with points redemption (although not great value), but the increase from 2.5k to 4k per month I would not be happy with if they expanded it to existing...

    Explorist Upgrade

Per my original post, I did not make the 30 nights for 2022. I logged into my account and lo and behold I went to Explorist, I don't know what but I'll take it - not that it did much for me per "Gold Member"s experiences mentioned above in my recent stays. In both of them I booked (using...
