    Missing flybuys points

To be honest, I'm getting quite annoyed with FlyBuys and the follow up. Coles is good, but First Choice Liquor which always has generous promotions is absolutely deplorable in their level of compliance. To Flybuys credit, they always fix things up on follow up, but it takes a lot more effort...

No 2022 status extension for World of Hyatt members

This looks to have changed, I received this email from World of Hyatt I note the word "selected". GSP, we've got some great news to share with you about your World of Hyatt membership. You've been selected to keep your Discoverist status for another year. This means you have through February...

I can assure you my dogs think they're stools don't stink (they do) after receiving their rankings. Fortunately their age is in "dog" years for qualification which is fair enough.

Credit Card Offers Qantas Premier Platinum Offers & Discussion

My experience has been (mostly) that using the online approach can take longer for them to process (and therefore reach the credit bureaus). Oddly enough I think it was a Qantas Money account. I can't recall.

What do the banks really think of churners.

Agree with @exceladdict it is up to two months, but generally with 3 to 4 weeks - I'm guessing it must be on a monthly reporting cycle. Should add, that the date recorded is the actual date you close it, not the date they update their records. I also find it useful as despite keeping my own...

What do the banks really think of churners.

My frequency is not really planned, just whatever is there at the time. I've applied for 2 or 3 at a time and received them all and sometimes go for a stint without applying. I tend not to stick to a maximum # of cards at one time, but I don't think I've had more than 5 at a time, but in...

What do the banks really think of churners.

It really is a subjective term but at its basics involve cycling through CC's by opening a Card account, meeting minimum spend, sometime after then closing it and going onto the next card, however one can have many cards at a time. So you could only repeat this once every 12 months and...

    Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Re the 3 weeks offers, I had 5 on 6 accounts. - 1 had $120 spend - 1 had $50 spend - 3 had $30 spend as @Dr Ralph had. Therefore 3 weeks of $90 spend split 3 ways for this household. 33% return is pretty good.

    Flybuys year in review 2021

Take the kids for a quick ride in Michael J Fox's car and adjust age to that :) , have them linked to their (presumably setup) Velocity accounts. Set family pooling (if not already done so) in Velocity and away you go.

100,000 bonus Velocity points + up to 100 status credits with Virgin Money Flyer cards (ends 31/1/22)

True to their word, after 1st month statement 25k plus 5k points landed in my VFF account plus around 2k for spend. Better than a poke in the eye.

    Flybuys year in review 2021

7% and 8% values, but given I've spread the load across 6 it's looking pretty good. An appallingly low # of points on spend where almost all points were bonus.

What do the banks really think of churners.

I've just checked my CreditSimple and CreditSavvy accounts and you are correct for both. 2 years it appears for accounts and 5 years for enquiries.

What do the banks really think of churners.

Yes, as andye said above, my experience is similar in that I've been observing my applications (and cards) from 2016 drop off at the 5 year mark.

What do the banks really think of churners.

Having churned and followed all offerings for quite a few years now, I haven't really seen an increase in minimum spend - on the whole I'd say it averages out the same. I also have noticed an increase in products offering points spread over two year periods, particularly when the first year fee...

Credit Card Offers St.George Amplify Signature: 150,000 bonus Amplify Points (expires 30/4/25)

You've obviously landed on Community Chest. Good god, do not roll a 5 and land on Super Tax or worse a 6 and land on Mayfair (if somebody else owns it). On the upsides "Go" would be around the corner meaning another 12 or 18 month exclusion has passed for further opportunities.

You will need to so as to ensure you don't get slugged the $35 fee for not spending 2.5k. I don't think you will have any problems however.
