I've done Moree/Syd and back a few times recently. Flights have been maybe 2/3 to 3/4 full. Social distancing not a strong point when it comes to boarding and have seen some pretty nonsensical seating arrangements. Wine and snacks are back.
It might be best to wait until a day or two before your trip as the declaration has changed a few times recently. I live near the border and travelled across two days ago to take a horse to a vet hospital. A new declaration is now required since then.
I'm glad to be home from Sydney. Looking at the prospect of not being able to work for weeks... months perhaps. Grateful to live somewhere quite isolated. Also grateful that my day to day costs can be kept very minimal.
I just would not do that Qantas marathon flight. NOPE. However even with a break still thrown in I'd still preference Singapore and Emirates over Qantas for super long haul. Those little differences in the level of customer service add up when you're trapped in economy for so long!
Flowers for Nicki doing a training run on Sydney to Moree yesterday afternoon. With her natural warmth and elegant turn of phrase she's going to be a great FA. She was trying so hard to remember everything her trainer was teaching her.
I got this email yesterday - although my birthday is in April so something's gone awry there.
Agree - not the most enticing suite of birthday offers.
I'd be delighted with a birthday DSC offering or (as a lowly silver) an additional lounge pass offer perhaps.
