    I'm curious about this also. I have two return flights Madrid-Melbourne in May & July - one is ex Madrid, the other is ex Melbourne, so I'd expect surely one of them is covered by EU261, though I'm super confused! Also with Etihad not Qatar (sorry for thread hop).
