Tried the Curtis Grenache - it is very light and not overly powerful. I can understand why some don’t like it and not sure who would pay RRP but for $15 a bottle with the AMEX offer it’s easy drinking for a bottle i’d be willing to pay double that for. Be interested to hear about the Mitolo 2016...

Exactly what I found too - 2013 excellent but the 2014 were complete hit and miss. Not sure if it was just my batch that had been heat damaged but as others noted some bottles were a bit funky and not a palette issue. Shared a couple of bottles with friends who all commented the same. Only way...
