Things just got more difficult travelling to France from the UK...just in time for my trip to Europe next week! Travelling London > Brussels > Paris so should be interesting with all non-essential travel between UK-France suspended.

I would suggest QF are consolidating and cancelling flights daily to maximise efficiency. They know domestic PAX are not going to have issue with being moved within 60mins of departure especially if they are notifying them 24-48hrs out.

I am on the Optus One plan for $65 (50% off EOFY special) that includes 10GB of roaming data which will come in very handy during my Xmas UK trip. Of course now that international travel has started up many plans across the telcos are having their roaming benefits reduced or removed completely!

It is a little strange to offer QF flyers with SG/WP/P1 who (under normal times) do a lot of flying only ALL silver status which is basically a non event. Where is the carrot to win over customers or get non-ALL customers to covert / try another hotel chain?

Great info here. Leaving for UK in a few weeks and feel like things are changing very fast so who knows what the process is by the time you actually travel. Some of the hotels I have booked want up to GBP150 for a PCR test! It is the new minibar revenue! I'll find a Boots and be done with it...

Changing the landing gear on the a380 seems like a decent job - is this a standard every ten years requirement or perhaps specific to this aircraft?

You will need to call QF and politely advise them that they need to find a suitable flight for you and your family so your Japan stop is not wiped. Put the onus back on them until they provide a suitable solution.
