Try for availability on Wednesday’s. I fly the route a lot and have had 100% success for flights on Wednesday’s even when availability has been I3 or T3

On Wednesdays, the new QF83 arrives in SIN at 19:05, but QF84 doesn’t depart (return) until Thursday evenings. Surely Qantas won’t keep a 333 sitting at SIN for 24hrs?

I think the fallout is still being realised. Many social media posts such as this going around. People’s flight canceled, points missing, locked out of accounts, etc. I was contact by ABC yesterday to do a story on the APIS data being breached, I politely declined.

I could only see the details of flights in the next 24 hours. Domestic flights I could click Manage booking and view phone number and email address, full name and FF number. International bookings I could view the same as domestic plus APIS including Passport Number, Nationality and DOB.

This response is definitely not accurate! Phone number, email address were accessible for domestic bookings and APIS was accessible for those that entered it for international bookings.

This is very concerning, especially if you had an international bookings, as I could view the APIS information of others including Passport Number and DOB.

I’m Try ex MEL or BNE. I had the same outcome with SYD, but got lucky ex BNE.

01 JAN QF1 SYD-SIN I4 (2 seats) Approved As usual my trusty back up route home (not so popular QF Operated route) came through with the goods for 8 JAN (2x J seats). I won’t leave the planning so “last minute” next year.

WP requested Ux3 QF75 (SYD-YVR) for week of 9th December = successful. I have been waiting for QF to release I fare class for that week. It was withheld for some reason. Anyway, I fare class was released today and success. Already have seats home on QF76 (YVR-SYD) in U for the week before...

I was advised by an operator from Hobart CC today, that if your international request is approved, then Qantas will make seats available for the domestic connections. Regardless of if there are any available fare classes for the domestic connection requests.

My advice would be to get the seats released, before buying the wine. Once the seats are confirmed you can hold them for a couple of days before “buying” them.

The stars aligned on Monday evening and I was successful in the release of 2x U seats for the SYD-YVR leg. Exactly 2 weeks out from departure.
