I'm platinum and my wife had no status when we flew to Europe last year with Emirates in economy. We both got 32 kg, though this year, for a flight next year, I only see 30kg as baggage allowance.

It would be usual to let the hotel know of late? arrival beforehand. I have stayed in hotels in Australia which close reception at 9 pm and arrive at 10 pm. They were well aware and made arrangements. Crowne Plaza Canberra is drink and snack and that's what you get.

White and raspberry in WLG INT lounge this week. I have rarely seen two flavours recently.

When there are several more people it begins to look cramped and at times, when it gets busy, no guest are allowed. ( I couldn't get a USB port to work, even with two different cables). Would I go in again, well, yes.! Needs must!

That is permanent but when the mods are completed access will be available from both ends, I was told. It will still be odd with those on the benches peering at those in the seats in the middle. The previous arrangement gave a modicum of privacy. I will have access to the J lounge for another...
