Been a few years since our last stay there but have stayed there a few times and it’s fine. On recent trips to Jakarta we have stayed for a couple of days so have headed into town but for a short stay I’d absolutely stay at the Mercure PIK again

Just be wary that both points earn and status credit earn will be pretty poor on the DOH-BNE leg unfortunately

I think ideally in the long run they would like 3x daily’s into Sydney. Possible 2 into SYD and 1 into WSI so by time that is built hopefully they have secured another bilateral

And to be fair QR themselves won’t stump up for the PP lounge at ADL so even after shelling out for a J fare you are sent to the VA DOM lounge 😡

Pullman Adelaide got an overhaul not that long ago and the rooms are not too bad. We stay there if we have a function on in the East end of town. We get very good upgrades there regardless but I don’t think I’d use a SNU there

Spot on. QR already has agreements in place with Air NZ for lounges in SYD, BNE and PER and the Marhaba in MEL so I’d imagine they would simply widen the deal to include these VA flights dependant on timings of course

That would have to be the case surely. QR already have an agreement to use NZ lounges so perhaps they get that extended
