I mean top-tier in life, not in frequent flyer programs. Like people you see on the front page of the paper.

So through my wife, who manages high-wealth individuals, I regularly meet plenty of genuinely top tier people. They are almost all humble, friendly, and personable. It's the halfway-theres who are ostentatious and loud.

A bit sad that people can be such prima donnas, isn't it?

Why public servants? Why is it ok for someone who is employed by a company to be there, but not someone employed by the state?

But, you can score 45 bonus SC for a short status run for a fraction of the cost, eg Syd-Ballina for $49 e/w in lite gives 55 SCs, up in the morning back an hour later, for $100. Doing that could easily help people retain gold.
