You need to click on the "Details" link at the bottom of each flight listing - economy award seats are Booking Code T and business are U. I've found you will usually find these flights on the QFF website - at least until this glitch appeared.

Didn't know that - does that mean telephone agents won't find seats on AA despite them showing on the AA and BA websites? When did this start as I only recently added an AA flight to my OWA that I first found on AA and then on QF?

To be honest that has been my experience - but persistence pays off. There are some overseas agents who are reasonably competent. Best advice if it's not working - HUACA. Or try social media channels.

Some interesting developments. Qantas came back via Twitter to advise "it seems that there's been an oversight from our end" They are now calculating the tax difference as AUD156.93 per person - a lot more like it but still more than I get by dummy booking on AA or ITA Matrix.
