Absolutely agree, getting two pax upgraded on a peak period flight is a big ask at the best of times, was very surprised that we got the upgrade for 2 pax on QF23 on Boxing Day! Anyway, 9 hours in Economy didn't kill me and I get to keep the 100,000 points for something else!

Yeah I guess. Was still 8 J seats only a few days ago.. I am WP so must be P1/CLs who got the upgrades. We got the upgrade on QF23 on Boxing Day so I guess both ways was hoping for too much!

Success on QF23 on Wednesday 26 December. 2 pax upgrade from Y to J on A333. Was showing 5 seats in J available on Monday 23 December. Upgrade came through at T-28 via text. One WP and one PS on the one PNR. Flight was full in J and looked full in Y too. I always find it hard to get upgrades on...

I had the exact same experience last year - being yelled at to 'go to Qantas' and the woman walked with me out of the reception area to make sure I left. I didnt bother trying again - felt really embarassed. At least the staff at the QF lounge are friendly.
