Were you through-checked / already had your BPs for the next segment though? I wasn't clear enough in my OP - I actually arrive the night before (a ~20 hour layover with the changed flight), so I assume I'll clear customers, collect luggage, and need to check in separately for the final flight.

I can't recall the AirNZ lounge well enough to answer your champagne breakfast question, but don't be disappointed that you can't visit the old SQ lounge - it was C R A P. The AirNZ lounge is nice, if a little crowded based on my limited experiences of it.
