Yep, I’m the same. All my earning is going to Velocity for the easy earns (big signups etc) and Kris where possible. As good as these Oneworld tickets are, I’d rather just spend 300ish Velocity points getting to Istanbul or North Africa and buying my own tickets into Europe (and booking online).

I would. But as @adenda alluded to, it may not result in much. I find just refusing to hang up might motivate them a little. Frustratingly, the manager I eventually spoke to last night who did acknowledge how hopeless her and her team had been admitted there was an after hours “emergency”...

Damn what a marathon! On the phone from 9pm to 5am just to change the last few sectors! Three hours with the Philippines who fired off stories like “you can’t have mixed class” and “Royal Air Maroc isn’t in one world” (despite those sectors already being ticketed 🙄) before being disconnected...

I think it depends on where you live. My daily charge is highish with them ($1.05 vs $0.76 with others) but I thought the 8c overnight charging would offset it. Problem is the “peak demand surcharge” which is adding 25% to the monthly bill. AGL doesn’t seem to charge that.

Bit of a hit losing the 8c EV charging from OVO but the $200 offsets it. Might give this a go then swap to the AGL EV plan after 45 days.
