Article: Qantas Auckland Lounge Upgrade: The End of an Era

Syd f lounge has 3 work desks by the entrance to bathrooms and showers. There are also 3(?) suites. At times both are difficult to get - strictly first come first served. Used to be able to book the suites in advance but not since covid.

Air NZ's 16 Hour Flight to No Where

During cyclone Gabrielle disruptions at AKL there were lengthy return to origin flights by EK, SQ & LA.

Air NZ's 16 Hour Flight to No Where

By returning to AKL just two flights disrupted. If they had diverted somewhere else it would have impacted multiple more flights over several days due to a/c and crew out of place. I expect pax would have been reaccommodated on subsequent direct flights as well as indirect via LAX, SFO, YVR...

Yes. Just Concorde Room that requires F.

    Heathrow Connection T3 to T5

T5 has conformance at security - this is the time you must join the security queue by or you will be directed to transfers desk to rebook. I'm not sure exactly how long before departure this is, but given QF's atrocious OTP for QF1 personally I would be booking the later flight.

Cyclone Gabrielle disrupts NZ flights 12-14 Feb 2023

At AKL alone approx 400 flights cancelled yesterday. Air NZ reports over 500 cancelled flights. Rain has eased in Auckland but still windy. Air NZ due to resume AKL flights from midday today (but probably not all routes as still rough weather in eastern North Island and upper south island)...

SIN Lounge Crawl 11 June 2023

Don't get too excited. LH has lots of lounges but some you won't have access to unless flying F or have HON status, some inaccessible due to wrong side of schengen/non-schengen. AC lounge is quite good (or was pre-covid as I haven't been back since).

It's extra-tropical now but heavy rain and high wind warnings for all of the north island and upper south island.

Will Qantas have a March 2023 double status credit promotion?

I expect the 2023 thread will be longer than that if there is no 2023 qff dsc offer!
