Me personally would ring QF... I have had a tight connection at KLIA but I was on Malaysian airlines for both sectors and they knew we where on our way. We did SIN to KL and do customs and then go to Lang Kawai. But I would make sure you have a good supply of what you need when you get to Sydney...

All sounds very messy but no chance getting on a diverted flight as it will be fully loaded and not breaking the journey to add more pass

Pre covid I would be worried but now I would ring up and see if there is a earlier flight

I know of a few people who have caught Covid and the general story from everyone I have heard from is it takes months to get over even once no longer infectious. I ma not interested in going OS until it is a little more stable with all the covid stuff and don't want to spend 2 weeks in ISO...

Also up load speed is not a big deal for most people download is where people want the speed... It saves carriers $$$ by offering slower speeds...
