    Once when I had booked business class (probably upgraded with points) and deliberately booked row 2 as I dislike row 1. Someone with higher ranking must have come along and wanted my seat so I was changed to row 1. So no matter what class you book no guarantee.

    Aust man, Used to work for Virgin, and yes you would be charged for a second bag. If your checkin was under the 23 kgs and you could fit you carry on inside your bag ( or do shuffling to ensure carry on was then 7 kgs) you could ask to have your bag retrieved if there was time. Was a nuisance...

    In PNG we drive a Toyota Harrier that is not available in Aus- it’s a Japanese import. It cost us AUS $23,000 3 1/2 years ago and its a 2001 model!

    If I’m the one holding up the line, I tell people to go before me. So yes perfectly acceptable to jump ahead
