Had the beef brisket and rice on a late arvo SYD-MEL flight. Only criticism is that it could have had a bit more beef (mine seemed to be half mushroom) . Other than that, a fantastic meal and I'd say it is miles ahead of QF business catering! Crew especially attentive as well with PDB and tops...

Sure, so long as the airfare comes down few hundred $$$ too. Disgusting that quality has become so poor to the point we have to conaider forking above and beyond their already exxy fare for something edible.

Sorry, realised I missed your question: I was charged 80k points to retain gold. In the two years prior, I think I actually earned (without roll-over and gift benefits) around 800 SC. Got lucky that they didn't check how many SC I had received from promotions rather than travelling!
