I have stayed in the Westin, and it really is very nice. Had a suite on the upper levels (work got a good deal not long after it opened). It is new, and well located, I would recommend it.

QF shares the CX lounge in T2 FRA. It is fairly small and can get crowded before the QF6 departure. However, it has showers (small and not terribly fancy, but usable) and I have never had to wait long to access them. There is also an open bar with a limited range, but no real food to speak of...

I was on a harbour cruise in Hamburg last Monday night, which went past (a few times actually) the Airbus facility where they do the final fitout of the A380s, and got a very good view of what I assume is the next QF A380 sitting inside.
