QF29 today on 04/10/2024 is delayed on QPE - scheduled to depart at 1020, but now only pushed back at 1145 - the delay is perhaps with the strong wind in Melbourne today? as the aircraft arrived as QF 30 this morning at 0630 approx... therefore unless other factors at play, shouldn't be this...

This is not a freighter service but this is a empty return flight that was meant to be a passenger service instead of pure cargo flight But thanks for this info- hope it won’t be deleted as this wasn’t strictly passenger service

Normally I won’t post non passenger flights but this I think is relevant with the stuck B-LXC since 25/09/2024 as CX104 - finally departed MEL at 1256 on 03/10/2024 as CX3874 to HKG. Scheduled to arrive at 1941.

I hope you have a safe trip too, this is just personal opinion - I fear it will be worse by then, as Israel wants complete ending with their enemies. I hope I am wrong and it is calmed down by then too!

The 128 to SYD took off at 2114 and now scheduled to arrive at 0752 instead of 0655… The QF30 to Melbourne departed at 2212 (2 hrs late) and now have an arrival time of 0847 instead of scheduled 0725 arrival CC @Melburnian1

I would also like to add one more thing… very optimistic to have a 20 minute delay in the 128 - because it takes 15 mins to taxi to gate after arriving in HKG these days due to using the far runway to land… therefore at gate more like 1850 - to clean and restock - more realistic is 40 mins...

thanks for the update - appears Qantas is trying to minimalize the impact of the delay - sometimes it works but I had seen others not so much

As stated in previous posts - the HKG turn around won’t be good - guaranteed delayed departure tonight - hope they can make up time in the air - if the 29 from MEL forms the 128, the delay will be WORSE than had it been the 127 becoming the 128 with a scheduled departure time of 1930

@Melburnian1 preliminary information from HK airport - the QF delayed 127 will become the QF 30 to MEL with only 10 minute delay as of now...

This could mean some delay on the return to Australia from HKG - if it is the 128 to SYD - bigger impact as that departure is 1930, but if it is the 30 to MEL - not as bad with the departure schedule at 2000

The return flight took off at 2206 and arrived at 0850 instead of scheduled 0725...

CX105 on 27/09/2024 to Melbourne departed at 0206 instead of 0025 and now scheduled to arrive at 1225 - 70 mins late... the return ON 104 should depart on time at 1425 with 2 hours of cleaning - this is B-LXE Also: B- LXC that was stuck here on the Wednesday version of CX 104 is still here...

hey - some info from flightradar 24- QF 29 to HKG today looks like going to depart late on VH-QPF, but the aircraft had landed in Melbourne as QF 30 from HKG was on time at 0739 this morning... I wonder what is happening on this flight?? Update: Took off at 1305 - and now scheduled to arrive...

CX105 (B-LXC) arrived in MEL on time today at 1102 today 25/09/2024, but the CX104 return to HKG at 1425 was cancelled at short notice at 1630

Pls dont forget 1 is a delayed QF2D because of the earlier medical delay couple of days ago, the other is the normal QF 2 from last night... and that one should depart a few hrs later from Singapore to Sydney arriving tomorrow morning
