I have had a couple of revenue booking's; neither ever had a KrisFlyer number.
With one I had my Velocity number in from the start.
The other was ticketed with no frequent flyer number and I was able to add my VA number online.
It won't be difficult; Califonia already had regulated so from July this year with its "Honest Pricing Law"; which legislation requires businesses across all industries to include all mandatory fees in the advertised price of goods and services.
Just spent $325 so the discount was nice - then SMBO had $170 banked (she is not into points for travel :eek:). Total outlay $122.
Oh, and with fresh meat/poultry 10 x points plus targeted bonus for spending earned 3080 points,so another $15 ;)
All as I remember. I stayed there many times during my Globalist period - useful for flights out and late flights in (I live a 70 minute drive from MEL).
They did look after me and even as an Explorist received that type of room a couple of times; otherwise generally high floors.
I had MGM Platinum and Gold status ar Vegas via the now defunct Hyatt partnership.
Resort fees were waived for me ... My last stay I had a few nights there for USD18 per.

Here's one - Qantas short distance SC earning used to be in 600mile zones, matching the distance for award zones.
With "Simpler and fairer™", distance based earning zones were lengthened matching the 750/1500 mile zones of Velocity.
Not sure - unless it's current "year" level - I am six weeks into my membership year and have less than 100 SC's, but ~40K lifetime.
I received 100 points. (Not that I'll need SC's, as forward bookings get me to well over 1200).
Two months ago I landed on a Qantas B787 into MEL from SIN. There were no airbridge gates available, so parked at a hard stand. We waited another ¾ hour before they we were able to disembark.

As for the Visa needs, I haven't gone near there within ExpertFlyer since COVID.
