Question about using the overseas dining credit, if I spend less than the $200 does the foreign currency conversion junk fee come out of the statement credit or is it charged on top? For example, if I spend the equivalent of AU$100 would the statement credit I get back be $103 or $100 statement...

You can be outbid by someone but there still be available seats. So if there's three business seats and you get outbid you might still be number three in line and get one. Or you might drop back to fourth in line and get nothing instead.

Which is handy if you want to book using your credit card to get the travel insurance activated.

Yes, I rely on it for myself. I've only ever had to claim on it once for medical in the USA. Had no issues at all, I called them, they let me know all the paperwork I'd need to keep and promptly paid out once I'd submitted.

Stayed at the Movenpick in Melbourne last week and got a bottle of red wine and some rocky road chocolate. I've found hotels in Australia frequently give a bottle wine, which is a bit disappointing for me as I don't drink. The chocolate is a nice addition to it though.
