I took the same journey on CX as a WP last month, but in the cheapest fares that didn't earn any QF status. No upgrades, greetings or anything special for me!

I think woodborer/calroth are on the money with the use of DroidSans. The DroidSans font they have set up as a downloadable font doesn't even have fi, fl, etc. ligatures in it, so I'm guessing that's a Safari/WebKit bug that it tries to choose a ligature glyph for those characters. Another...

Points upgrades on the discount fare classes that currently aren't upgradable for WPs. +1 to the suggestion to grant a small number of lounge passes per year for when you take a holiday with more than one friend/family member.

Op-up Y to J just now on my upcoming QR flight MUC-DOH (which has been delayed an hour). Gate agent said the upgrade was due to overbooking and my having OW status. KVS currently showing J4 C3 D2 I1 Y0 B0 H0 K0 M0 L0 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0.

I called and they cleared out the seat selections, then I was able to do it online. Still showed the error messages, but at least they stuck.

Having now booked the flights, I tried to select seats. Doing this on QR's website, I get to the end of the process and it tells me "At least one of your specific seat requests could not be processed", for each of my selections. Should I have the ability to select seats? If so maybe I'll need...
