What a great idea – being able to bank up some unused guest visits (to some suitable limit of course) so that you can bring in more than one guest on the rarer occasions that you need to.

I had the chicken and roast veggie salad yesterday as well, MEL-ADL, and I quite liked it. Small, but after a nibble in the lounge and one side of the family's xmas lunch earlier in the day, it was all I really needed.

Although I don't feel it's likely that Qantas will go completely bust and we'd all lose our points à la Ansett, I wonder what would happen to members' OneWorld status in that situation?

Re: Best Status Run Options - A quick overview! If I do a non-award search on the Qantas site without being logged in, the greyed out Classic Award column does have a little seat icon in the row for those flights I was looking at.

Re: Best Status Run Options - A quick overview! Investigating further, if I search on KVS for, say, ASP-MEL on December 5, it tells me of QF791/459 via SYD (among others) with no U class listed at all. But when I search for the two flights individually, I find QF791 has U1 and QF459 has U9...
