have a booking ADL-JFK on Cathay... They just cancelled the ADL-HKG flight and moved me from Tuesday Night back to Sunday afternoon.. Has anyone had any experience getting a better option with this ?? I don't really want to fly to ADL the day before departure now or stay 2.5 days in HKG...

Charger.. mostly this requires just looking through different dates.. I imagine Boomy would have just gone through the dates over the next 30 - 50 days to find available flights.... It is just trial and error.. or use United to search initially..:)

I actually love it.. Have done at least 6 trips to LAX, SFO or JFK and sometimes back from EWR.. All on Cathay. Have departed SYD, BNE, MEL and ADL Agree its a bit of work to find the seats but that is the game for me
