I was going to say tolls are based on the GVM of the vehicle, but funnily enough they are not charged on the weight of the driver or passenger :)

If I had someone arguing the point and persisting with questions I would give the same response. Presumably the FA was told to not allow passengers off for a reason. Does it even matter why ?

Re: 6hrs in LAX after long flight suggestions I also think an Uber down to Manhattan beach is a great option if the day is nice... if you only have 6 hours between flights, you would want to be back at LAX with 2 hours at least before your onward flight.. you would not have alot of time to do...
