Flew BNE-MEL yesterday on the 4.15pm service which was classified as "afternoon tea" even though arriving at 7.30pm !!!....Choices were Plowmans Platter, or a Cheese and Ham sandwich or the famous soup this time Spinach and Lentil....Pity about the first two choices which I deemed pathetic...

Yeh, just spoke with Hobart who confirmed "allocation exhausted" on SYD-HND for July even though over 20 J seats available for sale....I'll keep trying up until the last minute as I'm try to convert MEL-NRT to MEL-SYD-HND as our onwards flights are ex HND (beginning a DONE4 RTW from HND )

Flew OOL-MEL yesterday in row 4 with the middle seat free and the last 6 rows of the plane were all empty....so for us a win win....then the afternoon snack was a disgrace with 6 mini corn chips and salsa....but at least the beer was free !!!

I've positioned ourselves MEL-HND to start our 6th DONE4 ex TKO for 16 sectors all for under $9800 and as we lost our MEL-HND due to Covid at least we'll get 48SC's from points club for our CR to HND.....We're overnighting as we dont want to risk a misconnect due to two seperate PNR's

I had absolutely no problem with the AA RTW desk with my recent bookings .....maybe because I know most of the desk staff as I've been using them for over 15 years and I'm only a QF WP Emerald and have no status with AA

From a business perspective the way QF operate the OOL lounge makes absolutely no sense….the costs of bringing staff in for less than minimum hours must mean the lounge can’t pay its way….so as I said previously either run OOL as a proper lounge or close it down….the way it operates now is just...

serfy you are so right.....Cant pretend you either have a lounge or dont have a lounge....Unfortunately we fly to the gold coast 6 times a year and dont really fancy the drive up to Brisbane on the M1 just for lounge access
