I had the equivalent in the cab a few months ago and it was ok though glad I got it at the VM price. This shiraz get mixed reviews, I know Hungarian oak can add some interesting characteristics though never had it as an "oak blend" which this is suggesting. I've been undecided about this one...

For me it was just ok, I find the oak a bit strange however it is still balanced with fruit. A fare price at $15 and I didn't send it back. I searched direct on the VM site and it does not appear under Margaret River, though it does when I put in wagyu. However the link is still broken. It does match on latest pricing and JH points, nice wine.

The previous vintage that VM had of there's was the 14 at about $25 dollars from memory ... unless I missed one.
