Had my 1st bottle of 2016 Filsell last night, nicely balanced Shiraz and everything I like about the Barossa. Great value at $22 and I also look forward to seeing how it develops over the years.

It's a nice wine and while it may be apparently cheeper while saving on the petrol convienconv o You often get big discounts on the craft beer once it is past its best before date, especially with the imports given transport times.

That one is Better Half, it was in a previous mixed pack. 2017 CHARDONNAY | Better Half Wines.

Depends how it is structured I guess, and hopefully not aimed at offloading mediocre wine. In saying that I am still finding that there are bargains to have, and the returns policy is second to none. Also thank you to the Dr for sharing the voucher code, took advantage on some Mr Riggs today...

I agree, for the VM price it was acceptable, I enjoyed. I wouldn't buy again though I wasn't dissatisfied that I had, however still a good buy for the price. Cannot remember the specifics as I bought midyear.

Personal preference I guess, however I returned mine as the value at $20+ was not there for me and from memory VM's have already reduced price from the original offer.

Yes confirmed as mine arrived yesterday, agreed with the discount though my last few purchase didn't hit the spot for me so thought I'd give this a go. Not sampled as yet as currently my liver is on a detox :)

I agree about the Turners Crossing, mine is on its way back .I personally enjoy the Amelia over it .However not buying this round as we have had a couple of dozen of it and I think that is enough :)

I bought 2 cases and I am undecided whether to return at least one. It is a definite McLaren Vale Shiraz, however is it as described and worth the original price? Which would lead to the next question can I buy better $22 dollar wines .Well maybe I will continue to sip my through this before...

I agree was also told by a broker that this would be coming up. I am keen to press the button on this one.

Yep the 16, I hadn’t had any of the previous years to compare, just didn’t like that one. From memory it was lacking in fruit and tannin balance and no real spice to mention, i am no expert though to me it was almost like it was over oaked (if that’s possible?)

Sent my 2016 back as well, it was a very unbalanced wine

What is Cellar One’s return policy? Is it a case, pardon the pun, that no question asked free return equals a bigger investment?
