Has anyone here who opened the account for the 10k promo received the first 5k lot? We have an account opened in December, deposit and spent criteria met each month for 3 months, but 5k still not credited. T&C says 'may take upto 60 days', just wondering if anyone has recent experience of how...

    Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

Yep, nothing wrong with that and the payments are reflected in the online account. However, I was once perplexed to find those payments not accounted for when the bill arrived. Still haven't made up my mind if it's worth it chasing it up. YMMV.

    Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

depending on how many cards you would use for transactions, if only just one then you'd probably be alright. But if you are going hardcore, then expect hiccups like not receiving the bill in time, changing billing cycles, online account not matching the pdf bill, etc etc TL;DR look at other...

What's the collective experience: does this have to come from external source or can we transfer between family accounts to satisfy the requirement?

i haven't received any offers from ANZ, but then again i'm still using the cards (mostly amex) regularly. As a side question, does anyone have updates on waiving the annual fees with ANZ? Seems like they are really tight on this.

Bankwest Qantas MasterCard - Platinum. Earn 50,000 Qantas points. $160 annual fee

Applied online but was only approved for a measly 5k credit limit, might be too many hits on the file lately. Just wondering if anyone had experience upping the limit (and card status) later on, what is the earliest i could request it from them as an existing customer without going through all...

NoName The argument here is the bank not honouring the original promotion incentive of 10000 bonus QF points for opening and operating the account for 3 months

This. If they play hard ball, you do the same and take it further. For the car loan may I suggest you have a look at Qantas CU, I found their service very reasonable. As a bonus they only charge interest on your remaining balance, not calculate it upfront as most of the banks, i figured i saved...

$0 Annual Fee for Life on Citi Platinum/Signature CC Complimentary Insurance

It will not show up in credit report. Unless of course you explicitly agree for a credit enquiry as part of a transfer process with another bank, which i imagine would be quite a rare occurrence.
