Yeah, JAL used to specifically state on its website that First Class isn't available as a reward/free ticket. Which is why I was surprised when I noticed award availability SIN-HND-ITM last month for Sep/Oct as there were some availability in first AND business (dubbed Class J).

Called QF again, a diff rep says my chasing up of the reward is still pending, but wants to point out that the "21 days after the member has achieved Green Tier" only applies for new GT gain, and that for renewing existing GT the rewards will show up within 21 days of next membership year...

Qualified GT last membership year and redeemed reward the same year. Requalified again this year (last month), but 21 days passed by with no reward. Called 131313 yesterday, got a callback today saying that the rewards would be given 21 days after the next membership year, which does not at all...

So just to confirm, you can't do 100SC in a single membership year from two Green Tier rewards redeemed same membership year?

Used one of my AJ coupons on PER J two weeks ago. Slightly different experience, lounge lady was confused for just a sec until I told her that I used the voucher, she was very understanding afterwards and even trusted that I do have it when I struggled to find and show the lounge confirmation...

QF497 SYD-MEL 12/6 No PDBs. Choice was between Grilled Chicken and Cheese Focaccia, Pea and Mint Soup or Cheese Plate. Went with the soup, which was nice and light, perfect after being filled up on my previous flight and the lounge food.

Very meh, though the pork is quite soft, the fat isn't chewy.

That's what they did in the Indonesian giveaway. It was not nearly as chaotic. Yeah, I think they patched that shortly after I posted. It worked before (entered the code and went straight into the exclusive ticket queue, if I didn't enter the code I went into a different queue - the paused one)

Try inputting the code from the front page reservation before your queue position is reset.
