i had a similar issue with the Fairmont Singapore, don't remember how far out but there was nothing. a couple months later there was availability.

you can turn it off though, may need to call them to confirm 100%

Thanks, we booked direct. When I go into the booking I can already see it says we are in a Celebrio room which was more expensive so assume upgrade.

it was direct with Hilton, can't find it on HC/FHR to compare. I think i'd be ok with paying for the kids, 2 adults works out at ~$75 per day $300 over 4 days. I've had cash back on hotel stays reject before (Accor with Cash rewards) so it's probably worth the benefit.

Hilton Tokyo bay, 2 adults + 2 kids (8 +10), 4 nights. trying to decide if it's worth going direct with gold status from Amex Plat or with expedia and getting cash back works out about $200 cash back which is the difference between the 2. What would the Continental or F&B credit be? Can it be...

Just tried to book Hilton Tokyo Bay with this benefit and been told they don't have access to the stock on Expedia. Anyone else had this before, plenty of rooms available via Expedia but nothing from Concierge?

so wife received her card yesterday, activated and made first payment. I can't for the life of me find out how to access the benefits eg Accor+, hotel status etc. is there a waiting period before we can use them?

Wife just got approved for the platinum card, she already has Accor plus via the recent $200 family and friends offer. can she just ask for another membership to be created with a different email? What's the best way to not let this go to waste?

most likely no awards available to velocity. You will probably find no saver awards directly with Kris but you may get lucky and find advantage if you are willing to pay the slightly higher points. You are probably just looking at the points plus pay rate which will be atrocious.
