Seems to be totally random, and they can be frustratingly specific I was never asked with my GT P2 however - they didn't accept an interim statement from HSBC (7 days), and required several phone calls (and the subsequent month's partial statement) to get approval over the line

For those that have done an address verification via a 3 way call with eg HSBC and Amex, how does this work in practice ? Does Amex set the call up and ring their own list of numbers, or are we supposed to provide a relationship manager/banker contact ?
