To be honest, over the years this has occurred to me and associates not and then.
It can be something as simple as an overworked check in agent not caring who they were moving to accommodate a need.
As per @markis10's, practice may exceed published.
Assuming flights can be MU marketed for such access then I presume Qantas codeshare with MU on SIN and Oz routes in their agreement, but not HKG, hence the specifics.
"... flying with China Eastern" means little in this context. By the indicated web pages it should be a Qantas Codeshare flight. i.e. QF*MU.
From the table posted by @Brettmcg :
"Benefits included for Qantas codeshare services operated by China Eastern"
A "Qantas Ticket starts with 081-

To be clear, it must be booked as a QF flight number (codeshare).

I have no experience at T2 security since they have merged T1/T2/T3.
But is make some sense anyway as the TBIT/T4 connector security is in the wrong direction and would add a couple of hundred meters - it would make more sense once landside at TBIT to head up to departure check in and walk...
Several have had these post alread including myself ...

Note that often they often check boarding passes and stop anyone not flying AA or QF from using that TBIT arrival security. This is to the right (south end) of the arrivals hall.
@MollyJones , in earlier days there was a problem with status credits earned during the review period not posting properly; in those cases contact with Velocity was required to rectify.
These days there is no such issue.
My review date is 28th February with a renewal of 15th March. Flights I...
This time of year the Emirates lounge opens around 5pm giving an unrushed hour for those on the Qantas 7pm Sydney flight and more time for Melbourne PAX on the nights when the 8pm flight operates.
Tomorrow there are 10 flights to East Coast Oz, PAX on 8 of those would depart before the Emirates...
Was that 10 points for each or just one lot? A return is at least 2 segments for which you should have received 2 x 10 points.
Were the sectors Choice fares or "higher"?
Well, the app is no help; it seems to be only useful for new applications.
I had thought your passport was linked to the ETA approval and this would be automatically electronically validated on check in. You would not notice anything when this happens.
I would be taking a copy of the approval...
No proactive advice as yet, but I just checked - our five connected services on the $52 plan will be increased to $55. These services share 250GB per month with 4 being charged at a 25% discount at $39, so now they'd be $41.25 ...
It seems to me a bit weird, that once you have the Approval, that is it, until either the ETA or your passport expires or gets replaced.
Even the help indicates:
When you will get your ETA
We will send you an email when we make a decision on your ETA.
You will usually get a decision within 3...
I knew about leap years from a young primary school age, even knowing about years divisible by 100. However it wasn't until we approached the new millennium that I found that 2000 was going to be a leap year in line with the divisible by 400 rule.
Yes ... 2 ways. Firstly with the oneworld connecting flights rule and secondly via AA's published arrivals access.
