Yes I got an email telling me a new card on way and apple pay had been changed - it came about a day after phone call As @DC3 said can only have one card number

If you go to card management and use phone mobile data and go to track card , you may have option to show card details - can screen shot them and add to Apple Pay - worked for me for 2 cards

Yes 10 Yes cancel and reissue but Apple Pay gets automatically updated with new numbers and can keep using card

It gets returned to amazon, they credit the purchase and then notify BG

Agree - I struggle now to even get my amazon devices that need an OTP - they send out and it usually is very early in morning AEST and so cant get to BFMR to notify and delivery is cancelled

giving yourself best chance would seem using card in person and maybe doing a US transaction - I only have experience with Amex so far and they seem to not care one bit but others suggest Chase/C1/Citi are more stringent
