One thing people should keep in mind with chargebacks is that you can only do a chargeback within 6 months. So you might not want to book flights with OTAs further out than that if they aren't paying for them until you fly.

    QFF Status Credit Back Dating?

Hi, I've got a flight next year on LATAM. Its a couple of weeks before my end of year FF date. I'm wondering if I dont put in my FF number then after claim it as missing after my year is up if I can get the status points to count towards the next year or do you think QF will back date it? Cheers

QFF - Different prices same flights

I think you are right - I see this in the T&C: Note: If this fare is combined with another fare the most restrictive cancellation conditions apply. So I guess if you bought a flex fare with a cheap one then you have just thrown your money away since it wont be a flex fare anymore.

QFF - Different prices same flights

I've posted the one way prices based on a return fare. So the full price for Ex-HND is around $3000AUD Return Full price Ex-ADL is around $6000AUD return. So even if they add on some extra taxes on last page of the booking it wouldnt double the cost. One other question - If I book a return...

QFF - Different prices same flights

Thanks for your responses and I see your points. From what I can tell with low cost carriers (in general) they don't do this. Every flight has it's price and it doesn't matter what currency or where you're booking it from.

QFF - Different prices same flights

Ive just been looking at booking business HND - ADL. If I book this return I can book the flights on Business saver fares for around 122,000 yen each way ($1506AUD). I just had a look at how much the dates would cost if I booked ADL-HND return and the price for the same flight was double...

    So..LATAM..how good was that?

I flew SCL - LIM on LA in A321 last night - travelling in Y which had exactly the same seats as J. If I had paid for business I would have been pissed. I'm 6'1 and the seats are too small - they feel like Easyjet. I wish Oneworld would have some standards for seat pitch. I flew LA 787 MAD-SCL 10...

QANTAS to launch their own credit card in tie-up with Citibank

SMS as 2 factor authentication has been broken numerous times and its now not best practice to use anymore. There are lots of alternatives - Qantas should really be using them now rather than SMS Has anyone got their lounge passes yet - or do you need to do anything special to get them? (Sorry...

Qantas Frequent Flyer Launches Premium Food and Wine Community "epiQure"

Re: Quick & easy bonus points with Qantas epiQure Does anyone have a current point value? my estimate is currently around $0.0088 per point - valuing 5000 points at $44ish - Not sure why anyone would spend that much on points. I think this is an ok deal if you factor in the points at that...
