What's a forgotten item a security has found in your bag?

We also travelled with avalanche airbags In our checked luggage but we did have the approval paperwork. Only one was picked up each time we went through customs. The best was when we were in transit in Hong Kong and my husband was called to the Cathay desk. He was taken down stairs to the runway...

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I am having this exact conversation with Qantas at present. I have been referred to a ‘specialised panel’. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Double Status credits on Qantas Flights operated by Finnair

Lynda, as someone who is, unfortunately, not in the first flushes of youth, I loved the AY seat with the exception of the seat belt you mentioned in point 3. To me that let the whole experience down. However the ability to sit in so many different positions on the seat, was great.

Life Time Silver - no SC reset on anniversary rollover

Mine is still showing last year’s sc’s. I have my fingers crossed. Pointless I know but it would allow me to get to P1! I can dream.

Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

I am not in the first flush of youth but am mobile. I loved the seat with one exception and in that I agree with Lynda2475. I found the retractable sleeper seat belt very annoying. However I loved the seat so much that I will put up with that.

Article: Why Does Everyone Want to Visit Europe in Summer?

We are the odd ones here as we love travelling in the northern hemisphere winter. Why? Svalbard in February with about 200 visitors and not the huge cruise ships that visit in summer. St Marks Square in Venice with two other people and a snowman…fantastic. Iceland, Norway and the Shetlands were...

    Qantas Points Club Discussion

I am afraid that by giving points club plus any of the first three points in Mr H‘s response will definitely make me consider giving up on trying to obtain platinum each year. Surely these items should be only available to frequent flyers who support the airline.

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I am the same. I contacted Qantas after receiving my fifth leaf, and was told I wouldn’t be sent the selection choice until 12 months after the SCs hit my account this year. I had held the choice so that the SCs would show this membership year. Therefore the points I used and the money spent...

    Experiences on Qantas staff travel

Retired Captains, on staff travel, definitely do not have lounge access. Our buddy, who was a retired Captain was always a little peeved when we described the F lounge In Sydney. He then paid for tickets and could join us in the lounge.`
