If the refund request is kept under 10K it slides back without any manual intervention as ninja-tim mentioned he had to make several calls to chase it up. In my experience 5 days is the standard time from the request to seeing the refund in your bank ( if it is kept under 10K)

Does anyone recall if HSBC had an annual cap for FF points, prior to the recent rule change to max 2,500 ATO spend per month, think it may be just time to go into credit in a "greater than small" way before the rule change comes into effect?

I had "forgotten" that NAB stopped points for ATO on QF Plat Visa and Amex and stupidly paid ATO. Did end up with a few crumbs in points as their system still credits points for "the credit card fee" I may need to put up a list of cards to seek a bit of help on current status again?
