I think this is just a small blip, for the moment anyway. I’d say traffic will be impacted over the coming months as those who book 1-3 months out will likely push bookings to other hubs, especially the Asia and Australia to Europe. Pricing will probably drop and going onto peak, margin might...

SQ looks like it’s the most expensive out of all for the coming month. They seem to have bumped up pricing significantly and they will still sell every seat. Good Value still in some Chinese operators.

Iran’s relations with its neighbours seems to somewhat complex, it’s hard to see where this now sits with Iran launching missiles into most neighbours. Qatar have said they have not been getting comms from Tehran before any of these attacks which is apparently at odds with prior communications...

The issue with Qatar seems to be the al-Udeid Air Base which is probably the biggest US target in the region. Iran has made a few attempts to bomb it today. Will need Qatar to talk Iran out of those ambitions.

All Asian based LCCs airlines have poor form with Darwin. Tiger Singapore back in the day came and went, AirAsia have come and gone before, Jetstar Asia likewise. DRW is a high cost airport probably not helping.

Accomodation in Melbourne for the rest of this week and into next is super pricey due to F1, certainly feel for those poor people who are stuck. Melbourne also seems to have the most crew stuck with 10 aircraft currently parked. That’s a lot of hotel rooms!

Appears so. Fairly pointless frequency at 3/week with QF already daily, and the SQ Group 6 daily. MEL-SIN appears to be getting scaled back to 4 weekly also .
