    Two weeks ago SIN to MXP ordered for the breakfast meal service the BTC Nasi Lemak very tasty, a nearby passenger had ordered the Lobster, which didn’t look great. The BTC steak dinner first meal service ex SIN , very good as well.

    Same status here and we’ve been able to select seats, free of charge, including window seats on J QF classic reward AY flights booked from SIN to Europe .for April 2025. Though currently the SIN-HEL leg is seats are showing as pending.

    The B52s and their refueller aircraft KC135s (I think) were regular visitors to Darwin in the mid 1980s, hence a B52 was donated to the museum. Also of interest was a 75 squadron Mirage fighter that was recovered many years later after flaming out circa 1985, just prior to FA18s came to Darwin

    Finding car parks in the UK can be challenging and PAYG car parks can be expensive. Larger towns/cities have Park n Rides which can be convenient. On occasions after internet searches we found cheaper parking at sites such as local sports clubs. In towns if you’re able to walk a little further...

    Seems like the QFF points tracking for AIRBNB bookings is now working. QFF points for my most recent stay were posted exactly one month after the checkout date.

    And that’s the main reason for switching to VFF. And for ADL residents you can fly international direct from ADL with airlines such as SQ and QR, where you can’t with QF.

    Similarly, I was over QFF as well. In my case I simply changed the reward points learnt from QFF to VFF on my AMEX Elevate card and Westpac VISA (via Amplify rewards)

    It may well be VA optimising passenger loadings . It’s happened to us in 2022 our ADL-HBA flight changed to ADL-MEL-HBA, The benefit to us was the additional two sectors helpful to qualify for platinum.
