    Virgin Blue announcements 26/08

Also noticed they are getting rid of their E-170s. I'd still love to see DJ Group increase its long haul destinations. It's lacking, but I spose these things take a fair amount of time. .....and the vba share price is up 10%:D

    Not happy with Velocity...

I got my MH points credited within 4 weeks. That was about 2 years ago though. Simply gave them a call and sent them my boarding pass. Points were credited. Generally though, their crediting of points for their partners & shop and earn is terrible. It's been discussed several times in the past.

    Booking QF from LAX

Hi all, I have a feeling i have read similar posts on this, but couldn't find them. Anyway, last night the sale for Qantas American sale ended. Unfortunately i missed it and would still like to book flights, but really don't want to pay $1400ish from MEL-LAX on May 7 returning on May 12. I...

    Virgin Blue - changes ahead

I doubt this rumour is true. It would be far to difficult for SQ to aquire a majority unless branson gives up his percentage. Although, it would be nice to see that vba share price rise more.

The Beginning of the End of Qantas

I believe jetstar will continue to increase its market share, and Qantas will become smaller, especially on domestic routes. Qantas may change is business structure and target markets, but it will always remain dominant over jetstar.

Help I need 68,000 QFF points.

Do you shop at Woolworths? If you spend $200 p/w on groceries over 6 months you'll get about 5000 points

    Just how many Velocity Points?

I noticed that Virgin Atlantic's premium and upper class have been pushed back to being availible in early 2010 rather than late 09.

Tony Abbott - New Opposition Leader

Couldn't agree more. I'd prefer Hockey over Abott, but at least there is no more Turnbull and no more ETS:D:D:D...for now.

    Surprise! You've turned Gold!

True, I can understand how people would feel if they had got a membership taken away from them that they had their hearts set on. It probably doesn't help that I read the "Please disregard our last email titled "You've turned Gold"‏" email first, so I never had my hopes destroyed.

    Booking V-Australia ex-HKT

That seems fairly cheap for a one way flight in economy from coughet. Converted that works out to be $270:)

    Surprise! You've turned Gold!

I've been reading a bit about this in other places, and it seems many people are "outraged" and are demanding compensation. Why? They are no worse off than before they received their upgrade. There are always people who blow issues out of proportion, and make a big deal out of nothing. Mistakes...

    Air Asia X - review

I am going to be flying on 6 short haul and 2 long haul air asia flights in feb/march, so this was an interesting read I maintain that you get what you pay for. I don't really care about the service or comfort. Providing me and my baggage arrive in one piece I'm happy. Without the competition...

Virgin Blue announces flights to Bali

I've never flown from SYD, but I have from MEL. If you've flown virgin before, expect pretty much the same service on an international flight. Same plane, and service. The Service is generally good. I must say that 6 hours on a small plane, with uncomfortable seats and not much leg room isn't...

Thats exactly what i thought. For me, i cant see being worth the extra money. Id prefer to save the $$ and be stuck with the cattle, which is where i usually am anyway.
