AFF Review: ZIPAIR 787 “Full-Flat” Business Class (NRT-MNL)

There are currently zero carriers on NRT-SYD so it is an opportunity for Zipair to own that route.

Kiwi Lawyer attempts to claim tax refund on $0 Jetstar fares

This guy is probably the reason why credit vouchers now take around 2 days to be issued.

Qantas adds Brisbane-Manila but suspends Sydney-Shanghai flights

Won't a certain state get upset and punish Qantas in some form or another?

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I was able to double dip in the past by claiming immediately upon earning the 5 leaves AND at my membership anniversary. I'm not sure what the current situation is.

    Earn points on Bank Transfers

I was successful in getting mine reduced to 10k. I think I did it all online.

Qantas adds Brisbane-Manila but suspends Sydney-Shanghai flights

Why BNE? MEL-MNL makes more sense, no? I'm ok with the MNL timings. It avoids Manila traffic.

Have you ever had a disparity in hotel room booked to room given?

I booked a $40 room on the app last year. I knew it was a mistake rate but if I didn't book it then somebody else would have, so I booked it. The T&C said prepaid but my card wasn't charged. When I got the confirmation email it said $160. I didn't take a screenshot and had no way to prove the...

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

I too use a fee free NAB Signature Visa. I guess I am part of the 1%. Oh and I shop at WW using discounted gift cards. I'm pretty sure I pay less for my groceries than Aldi shoppers who avoid credit card surcharges.

SkyBus gone up again [Now $23.90 one way]

What difference does it make if it's above ground or underground? Does anyone from Brisbane ever say "I wish the airport station was underground. It would be so much better!"

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

Using points to save real cash on a ticket you would had to buy anyway isn't so dumb. Compared to saving points for years waiting for the perfect redemption opportunity that may actually never come, until it reaches a time when Qantas increases redemption rates, which is only a matter of time.

Why don't hotels make it easier to order room service?

So basically there was a language barrier so a self ordering option (with English functionality) would have been preferred. I guess if Uber Eats (or local equivalent) is taking away their room service revenue then it may not be worth the investment in setting up an online room service ordering...

    Latest JetStar Promotions

Fares were definitely loaded at 9am but the price list wasn't made available until much later. You had to blindly search through random routes and dates to see what was available. I searched for the longer routes first and got lucky with Perth. I received the booking confirmation email at 9.16am.

    JetStar International Upgrade Options

You would 'change' your flight to the same flight, pay the change fee, pay any fare difference and add a bundle. The change fee alone is already $70 per domestic sector so that might be enough of a deterrent. The T&Cs also say that you forfeit the right to get a voucher refund on a max bundle...

MEL reportedly best airport in Australia

SIN is nice but it has some flaws. I don't like security being done at the gate. Also, distances between gates, lounges and exits can be vast and can involve very long walks.
