I have just used my Qantas frequent flyer points to purchase a domestic flight online - I've only ever done it over the phone previously. The flight is from Sydney to Perth in April, and cost me 36,000 points plus $24.71 charges/taxes. I chose this option rather than a total of 42,000 points...
