    In your situation, I’d jump onto the SQ website and find a flight with a connection that suits you ( a day either side), call them up and ask to be rebooked. Once they do then call VA to have the ticket reissued.

    Why buy a flexi/business class domestic flight when some connections are not eligible to change without a fee?

    Just did a dummy booking for that, fare rules do say CBR SYD $99 for reissue. I would never have even checked to be honest..

    Yes, please don’t think that because you’re now Gold, that you’re “all that”. You’re just gold - with whatever gold gives you. Qantas likes to ensure you think it’s a lot more than what they actually offer.
