Loadings are J1 C0 D0 I0 U0 - while I've read reports of people getting that rejection message and still being upgraded at the gate, my guess (I'm unskilled in interpreting loadings) is it won't happen.

We got op ups as OWE, surprised as I thought they'd have more of their own elites to prioritise. You can get lucky.

It’s probably an ‘easy’ source of revenue - the government (of any persuasion) will say if you want a passport you can afford a holiday or work pays for it. Even when it’s not that simple.

Yes we received an upgrade to J on MH MEL-KUL when I was QF gold. I was shocked and happy, given I wasn’t an MH elite and there were two of us. I assume it was an op up.

Good move handing them out imho, some really value them and otherwise QF could have just wasted throwing them away.

I like that theory, I also seem to have two tracking numbers. And yes I know the ROI on retaining P1 versus a set of pyjamas that’d be easily bettered by something from Kmart but it’s all about the status chase for me, in my last year of P1.
